Property tax hikes are OUT OF CONTROL throughout Bartow County and Cartersville. The Georgia legislature allowed us to vote ourselves property tax relief in 11/24. And we did with 69% voting yes to limit property tax hikes for homes to no higher than the rate of inflation.
But the the local school boards OPTED OUT! Defying the will of the voters.
Thanlfully, the Georgia Legislature quickly passed bills so WE CAN VOTE YES AGAIN FOR PROPERTY TAX RELIEF IN 2025!
So this is your chance to overcome the massive tax hikes every year. The School Boards have had their way and chose 10-20% tax hikes every year.
